We offer this service as an add-on to your walkAlpujarra holiday. It applies to walking routes in the Alpujarra.

You could treat this service, as a bit of fun or as an extra safety feature.

You can check that you are not wandering off-route during the day.

You can learn GPS basics before buying your own.

The unit will contain exactly those routes that we have suggested to you as part of your holiday. We will also have provided the equivalent written walk notes and maps.

The gps unit does not contain a map, only the "tracks" to "follow".

No GPS unit is to be relied upon 100% but it provides a useful backup to confirm that you are on the route.

We supply instructions sufficient for a novice user.

The Cost is 10 Euros per day with a minumum charge of 35 Euros.

The unit uses 2 AA bateries which last about 2 days; these we can supply at cost or you can use your own.

We will also ask for a returnable deposit of 50 Euros.

These amounts are payable at the beginning of your holiday.
